Following yesterday’s executive briefing, I am writing to share our revised timeline. As you know, our Vice President, Mr. Sterling, always has visionary ideas. Yesterday, he nonchalantly announced that we will move the launch date up by two months. Yes, two months. He claims this unprecedented schedule will bolster our market share.
To be completely honest, this plan is borderline delusional. Our engineering team is already stretched thin, and cutting the testing phase in half will inevitably jeopardize product quality. When I tactfully pointed out these glaring risks, Mr. Sterling simply smiled and said, "We just need to leverage our synergy!" I nearly passed out. "Synergy" does not write code or fix bugs.
Nevertheless, the decision is set in stone. Therefore, I am implementing an emergency protocol: starting Monday, we will scrap all unnecessary morning meetings and allocate 100% of our bandwidth to core development. If anyone asks, tell them we are "maximizing synergy." Please hang in there—coffee is on me this week.
